Dexter- Season 3
Rating: B+
Ages: 16 and Up
Dexter is back. I hope you can tell just how much I have enjoyed this show being that three of the four reviews so far have been about Dexter. This show has it all for me and once again they bring their "A" game, in this the most recent season that I have viewed. All the characters are back which I love and of course with each new season some new ones are introduced.
This season has a new friend and ally in the Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado played by Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue). After the murder of Prado's brother, the ADA is curious what exactly Dexter does with his spare time. As Dexter and him continue to grow their friendship so do their interests. After learning some interesting things Prado decides to "cut" some corners in the legal system and take action into his own hands. Meanwhile, the team at Miami Metro look into the "Skinner" killings that has all of Miami on suspense. Juggling his work, hobbies, his new friend Miguel Prado, Dexter and his girlfriend Rita try to plan a wedding all while Rita is pregnant with their child.
This season is just as enjoyable as the others. The same things go into this one as the others that were reviewed. The same swearing, blood and occasional nudity still come up. However, this show is probably the best TV show out there right now. It constantly leaves me on my seat guessing what is going to happen next. It always leaves me wanting more and gets me more and more excited to start the next season with every passing episode. I hope you enjoy it cause I certainly do!
